The Role
 

The intern will gain practical experience market research, meetings, diary management. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: Researching, setting of interviews and negotiations. Full training and mentoring will be provided to the intern. On completion the intern will have attained skills in the following: Executive Search processes. Researching industries and professions to identify targeted professionals. Process management including setting of interviews and offer negotiation and referencing. Client account management.

MARKETING ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP

The company had an opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join their expanding team. Working closely with the Marketing Executive, this role will provide the intern with the opportunity to gain exposure to all marketing activities including advertising, brand management, website and e- marketing. They will be tasked with a number of key projects that will be instrumental in the delivery of the marketing plan. This position was an ideal role for someone looking for a very challenging and diverse role where they will gain exposure to the complete workings of a highly dynamic company in a fast paced environment.

2 STUDENT COUNSELLOR INTERNS

The Role

A Student Counselling Service was looking to recruit two student counsellor interns on six month internships.  The range of services provided include individual and group counselling, consultation with University Staff on psychological issues, liaison with and referral to other University support services, staff training, and student talks.

The Person

Applications were invited from suitable candidates holding at least a 2.1 grade primary degree in Psychology or the Human Sciences and a post-graduate professional qualification in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Psychotherapy / Counselling.  As these are designated intern posts, applicants must be working towards registration with a recognised professional body but must not yet have achieved registration status.

DIGITAL CONTENT
ADMINISTRATOR INTERNSHIP

The Role

The intern will assist in the development of the organisation’s digital communications strategy, the cornerstone of which is the development of a new website. The intern will play an active role in this project and will gain hands on experience in the management of digital communications as well as in producing dynamic and engaging online content.

Specifically the intern will: 

  • Work with a Content Management System (CMS) to upload and edit website content
  • Liaise with external consultants
  • Engage in content mapping, incorporating feedback from internal and external stakeholder
  • Write and edit website content
  • Produce multimedia content
  • Manage the organisation’s digital content on a day-to-day basis

ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNING

The company had an opportunity for an architecture intern to join their expanding team. Working closely with a senior planner, this role will provide the intern with the opportunity to gain exposure to all activities including urban planning, meeting with clients etc.. They will be tasked with a number of key projects that will be instrumental in the delivery of a draft plan. This position was an ideal role for someone looking for a very challenging and diverse role where they will gain exposure to the complete workings of a highly dynamic company in a fast paced environment.

 

The Person

 

The ideal candidate was an architecture graduate with a focus on urban planning who wishes to pursue a Masters in the field..
