Who is eligible?

  • All applicants must have a valid Working Holiday Visa (417 or 462) which allows them to complete their unpaid internship on a full time basis for a maximum of 26 weeks.
  • In order to be granted a 417 or 462 Visa,
    applicants must be aged between 18 – 30 years. 
  • Have a reasonable level of English
    (Level B1 or higher) 

  • Be available for a minimum of 6 weeks' internship placement

Documents required

We require the following documents to organise your placement:

 

  • Placement application form, submitted online Click here!
  • Valid Passport and Visa documents that allow you to undertake
    an internship in Australia
  • Proof of insurance which must cover them for medical, travel, accident and personal liability expenses up to AUD $2 million Click here for more info!
  • CV in the *.doc format in English
  • Letter of motivation in the *.doc format in English

(Some hospitality candidates are required to complete the RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate at an additional cost of $150. RSA is a pre-requisite for Hospitality (Food and Beverage Department only) to be completed prior to internship commencement. An online course is available.)

Will I get paid?

In short, no. Our unpaid internship programme was created to obtain hands-on experience in a work field in which someone is considering a career. Internships are designed to benefit the Intern and serve as introduction to the work field whether it be in architecture, the media, marketing, IT, or anything in between.

 

Unpaid Internships help gain experience and connections in a student’s field of interest they are not paid work

Upon request we arrange for you:

  • RSA certificate (Online, fee to be paid to coaching institution directly)
  • Medical and liability insurance (First 2 months included in the placement fee)

Accreditation

Internship Agent will issue a Certificate of Completion upon request. This guaranteed service* requires the completion of the Internship Diary on a 4 weekly basis!

 

Internship Agent will certify the dates of the internship, the exact duration, hours worked, the internship field, the type of host company and company details and the location.

 

Upon request and successful completion of the internship, this certificate will be accompanied by a Letter of Reference, issued by the host company.

 

 

 

 

 

*Internship Agent will not be able to issue a Certificate of Completion, if the Internship Diary is not completed as requested.
